Astrophysicist Thomas G. Brophy who partnered with Robert Bauval in researching and writing Black Genesis, discussed in the previous post, provides an excellent overview and explanation of the Nabta Playa site and why its discovery and significance requires a complete revision of our view of human history.
Brophy is the author of The Origin Map: Discovery of a Prehistoric Astrophysical Map and Sculpture of the Universe (2002). His book presents the first comprehensive analysis of the megalithic architecture at Nabta Playa, its astrophysical map, and its implications for the later founding of Ancient Egypt. Also noteworthy is his brief discussion of the obstacles he faced getting his work published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, despite the fact his findings “are easily reproduced and tested through astronomical calculations.”
