This year marks the 90th Anniversary of the Tulsa Race Riot. Those who say we live in a post-racial America need to speak to Otis Clark—who, at 108 years old, is the oldest survivor of the riot—and to the approximately 40 other remaining survivors of this murderous assault that left over 300 dead, 8,000 homeless, and destroyed “Black Wall Street,” one of the most significant centers of finance, commerce, and prosperity in African American history.
